Michelle Lingebach is currently the Director of Celebrate Independence, bringing extensive expertise in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. Her deep commitment is rooted in her previous role as Director of Transition and Waiver Services for Celebrate Ability. She draws on a diverse background encompassing roles such as Service Facilitator, Adult Life Planner, Family Consultant, Service Coordinator, ABA Therapist, Mental Health Worker, and Special Education Teacher to effectively help families navigate the Waiver system and advocate for the highest quality services tailored to their children and family’s needs. Academically, she holds a master’s in special education, a master’s in counseling, a bachelor’s in human services, an associate of arts and sciences, and complemented by over two decades of direct care, residential, waiver and administrative experience. Her work is guided by the fundamental belief that individuals with disabilities should be empowered to participate fully in their community, pursue employment, and enjoy friendships, just as anyone else chooses to do.
